NOTICE OF INTENTION
REMOVAL OF HOLDING
To amend Township of Alnwick/Haldimand Zoning By-law 19-2019 under Section 36(1) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended
RE: Part of Lot 4 and 5, Concession B, S/S Forced Road; and North Part Lot 3, Concession B, S/S Forced Rd, Geographic Township of Haldimand, now Township of Alnwick/Haldimand

The Council of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand will consider a by-law to remove the holding symbol from the above noted lands at their meeting on March 25, 2025.
Purpose and Effect of Proposed Amendment:
The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment applies to lands located at Part of Lots 3 and 4, Concession B, geographic Township of Haldimand, now the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand, owned by Victor and Tania Haisma. A Key Map is attached showing the location of the subject lands.
The purpose and effect of the zoning amendment is to amend Zoning By-law 19-2019 to remove the holding symbol “H” from the “Agricultural Exception No. 43 (A-43)” zone which permits a game bird hunting preserve.
